OVERVIEW

SKYDIVERS
is flying racing game created by Polygon Games Studio during my Polytechnic period as my Final Year Project as the project consist of 5  members with a time span of 1 year. This game was developed using Unity Engine as I'm the only programmer. 


CHALLENGE FACE

The main challenges I've face was during development period I wasn't well equipped with a lot of the physics knowledge so I spend most of my time learning plane physics. As this causes the first milestone to have a lot issues as I wasn't able to rush out some of the key features for the presentation.

Next challenges I've face was the AI path for the plane to move but at the same timing trying to make them move towards the power-ups. Which I eventually was able to solve by adding offset radius to their waypoint.

 

CONCLUSION

Overall I feel this project has helped me to have better understanding of how the physics flow works which eventually helped in my future project Adrestia Protocol.
